ABSTRACT:
A 9 page paper, including an executive summary. A great deal has been written about high performance working systems and high performance organizations over the last decade or so. As with all new terms and phrases, this one is defined slightly differently by different authors but even so, there are some constant elements in all descriptions. These are discussed. A proposal to a company is made in the second section in the paper which focuses on developing teams and offers concluding comments about the steps an organization needs to take to become a high performance organization. Bibliography lists 11 sources.
